Volleyball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mountaineers from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-16-1. As for Mt. Vernon, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6-2.

Parkview has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East Newton on the 4th. As for Mt. Vernon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rogers on the 4th.
