Soccer Game Preview: Neches vs. Frankston

The Neches Tigers will face off against the Frankston Indians at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Neches will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Neches is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Timpson, sneaking past 5-4. Given Neches' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Timpson are ranked 143rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Frankston's good fortune finally ran out back in February. Neither they nor Neches could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result kept Frankston happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 6th.

With that draw, Frankston's record moves to 21-3-1. As for Neches, their win bumped their record up to 32-0-1.
