The Prairie View Thunderhawks will face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prairie View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Prairie View's tournament run continued when they took on South Fork on Tuesday. Prairie View might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-3 to South Fork, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Giovanni Tarin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jael Peralta also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Okeechobee and Central had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Okeechobee fell just short of Central by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Brahmans have lost by just one run.

Okeechobee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Prairie View, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
