School of the Ozarks posted their closest win since October 1, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wheaton Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was School of the Ozarks who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-19.

Bennett Houston paced School of the Ozarks' offense, picking up 11 kills. Houston got some help from Lulu Robbins and her 17 assists. Kaylee Martin and Cora Presson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

School of the Ozarks' win bumped their record up to 12-2-3. As for Wheaton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.

School of the Ozarks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Pierce City on the 20th. Wheaton has also already played their next game (against Purdy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
