Football Recap: Sheridan Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Sheridan extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 5-1. They walked away with a 22-13 victory over the Taylor Titans. This was payback for the Blackhawks, who suffered a 12-11 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sheridan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brody Heck, Hayden Alexander, and Landon Moffitt picked up one apiece. Heck is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Jaden Dunbar was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making ten total tackles.

As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Taylor lost, don't look at Javionne Harris. Despite the final result, he rushed for 186 yards and one score while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 100 yards and one TD.
