Baseball Recap: Stringer Takes a Loss

Stringer saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 15-3 to the Lamar Raiders. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stringer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lamar, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stringer will square off against Newton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they will be taking part in a tournament against Southeast Lauderdale at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Lamar 3.8, Southeast Lauderdale 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
