Preview: Legacy Christian Academy Knights vs. Dixie Greyhounds
The Legacy Christian Academy Knights will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Dixie Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. Legacy Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 25.3 points per game this season, so Dixie's offense will have their work cut out for Dixie.
Legacy Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 54-4 win over Miami Valley on the road. With Legacy Christian Academy ahead 33-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Ali Solomon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points. Another player making a difference was Combs Ava, who scored five points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Dixie scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They strolled past Stivers School for the Arts with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. That looming 58-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Dixie yet this season.
Legacy Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.67 points. As for Dixie, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
Legacy Christian Academy lost to Dixie on the road by a decisive 52-37 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Legacy Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
