Berryville had lost seven games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-10 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Green Forest Tigers 19-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since April 11, 2024.

As for Green Forest, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (12), they still had to take the loss.

For Green Forest's part, they got a massive performance out of Bella Phillips, who went 2-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. Emerson Demeyer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Looking ahead, Berryville will take on Yellville-Summit at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Forest, they will square off against Pea Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
