Softball Recap: Handley Comes Up Short

Handley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Liberty Eagles, falling 16-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Judges of the 18-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Handley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Handley will square off against Brentsville District at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will take on Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
