Volleyball Recap: Putnam Comes Up Short

Putnam lost against Griswold back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clippers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines.

The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-8, 25-7.

Leading Griswold to victory were Carly Rubino and Maryn Austin. Rubino had 14 digs and six aces, while Austin had nine digs and one assist. Those six aces gave Rubino a new career-high.

Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Griswold, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Putnam nor Griswold have any future games scheduled.
