Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Versailles' good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 43-30 to Adrian.

Versailles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Butler, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Butler against Versailles when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Butler since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
