Basketball Recap: Killian Hill Christian Comes Up Short

Killian Hill Christian played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 76-35 loss at the hands of the Fideles Christian Rangers. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Killian Hill Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ronald Skeete, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Christian Kang, who scored nine points.

It was another big night for Xander Lipinski, who went 15 of 22 on his way to 38 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Fideles Christian. Lipinski's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Andrew McWhorter also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Killian Hill Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Fideles Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.

Killian Hill Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-28 loss against HALO on the 27th. As for Fideles Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-54 defeat against St. John Bosco Academy on the 28th.
