Baseball Recap: Whetstone Comes Up Short

Whetstone entered their game against Westerville South on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Braves came up short against the Wildcats, falling 17-3. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-3 defeat on Friday.

Whetstone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was August Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Whetstone's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Westerville South, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Whetstone by a score of 17-3 later that day.
