Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Tahoe). They managed a 65-61 victory over the Pershing County Mustangs on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lakers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

North Tahoe got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Seth Hendricks out in front who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 rebounds. What's more, Hendricks also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cormac Springsteel, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards.

North Tahoe was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Pershing County lost, don't look at Travis Donaldson. Despite the final result, he posted 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Rhodes, who put up 11 points and five steals.

North Tahoe's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-5. As for Pershing County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

North Tahoe has already played their next game, a 47-31 win against Sierra Lutheran on the 7th. As for Pershing County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-17 victory against Coral Academy of Science - Reno on the 7th.
