After losing to A.L. Brown the last time they met, Lake Norman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wonders 11-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Evelyn Adams was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Kaylee Harris, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Adams wasn't the only one making solid contact: Lake Norman kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. The Wildcats are 6-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Lake Norman now has a winning record of 8-7. As for A.L. Brown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

Looking ahead, Lake Norman will challenge Alexander Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for A.L. Brown, they will face off against Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
