Basketball Recap: Sussex Tech Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dover, Sussex Tech was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-29 win over the Milford Buccaneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-27 back in December of 2024.

Sussex Tech is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Milford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Smyrna the next time they take the court. Milford will host Smyrna at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sussex Tech will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
