Football Recap: Wawasee Warriors vs. West Noble Chargers

Wawasee had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-1 to make it seven. The game between the Warriors and the West Noble Chargers didn't end well, with the Warriors falling 35-19. The Warriors were down 35-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Wawasee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mark Haynes rushed for 117 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 154 yards and one touchdown on only nine passes. 85 of Haynes' passing yards were hauled in by Kaden Andrew, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
