Preview: Dodge County Indians vs. Wilcox County Patriots
Dodge County has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will square off against the Wilcox County Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Dodge County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Dodge County humbled Brooks County with a 54-19 victory.
Dodge County can attribute much of their success to Lyric Green, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Paige Ingram, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wilcox County took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They managed a 46-42 win over Macon County.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Dodge County's win pushed their record up to 2-0, while Brooks County's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
Dodge County took their victory against Wilcox County when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 61-36. Does Dodge County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wilcox County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
