Windham made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,839 from 7,138. The improvement came about via a 29-13 victory over Griswold last week.
Montville led Eastern Connecticut - Medium in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Killingly.
Bacon Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nate Kozlowski threw for 180 and one touchdown and Ryan Duclos had 85 yards receiving. On the ground Aaron Stolzman chipped in 25 yards. Donovan Violette helped Bacon Academy's passing attack out by catching six balls for 60 yards.
Bacon Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kozlowski has thrown for 448 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Duclos has 18 catches for 243 yards. Stolzman leads the league in rushing with 74 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Indians take on the Whippets. Montville has allowed 73 points this season, while Windham has given up 75. Tanner Grove's team allowed 22 points last week as it bested the Redmen.
