Baseball Recap: North Caroline Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for North Caroline's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Queen Anne's County Lions on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

North Caroline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Queen Anne's County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Caroline will challenge Parkside at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Queen Anne's County, they will venture away from home to challenge Wicomico at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
