For the second straight game, Tri-County will face off against Faith Christian. The Cavaliers will welcome the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Tri-County will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Monday, then bounced right back against Faith Christian on Tuesday. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Tyler Burns was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most triples he has posted since back in May of 2024. Luke Voors was another key player, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.

Tri-County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Faith Christian only posted an OBP of .304.

Tri-County pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Faith Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tri-County has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Faith Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts.
