Basketball Recap: Central Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glencoe-Silver Lake, Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers by a score of 68-56. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 66-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Central now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Central will head out to face off against Litchfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Litchfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted has already played their next contest (against Rockford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
