Basketball Recap: Sparta Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Sparta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clever Blue Jays. The Trojans were probably out for revenge after losing 52-48 to them when the teams met back in February of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sparta's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Clever, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Sparta has already played their next matchup, a 66-49 defeat against Fair Grove on the 20th. As for Clever, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-53 loss against Monett on the 21st.
