They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 20-18 win over the Eastern Comets on Friday. For the Kings, this counts as revenge for the 13-7 victory the Comets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Ava Hubner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maddie Lynch, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lewis Cass kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
