Boyd waltzed into their contest on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They never let the Valley View Eagles get on the board and left with a 23-0 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Boyd's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Valley View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Boyd will square off against Kennedale at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games Kennedale has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Valley View, they will head out to challenge Callisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
