Basketball Recap: Inter-Lakes Takes a Loss

Inter-Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Moultonborough Academy Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lakers have suffered since January 31, 2024.

Inter-Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Moultonborough Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

When Inter-Lakes and Moultonborough Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Inter-Lakes will square off against Gilford and their 11-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Moultonborough Academy will try to stop Lin-Wood's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
