Volleyball Recap: Natalya Manns and Mari Clark Secure Win for Macarthur

MacArthur can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Tri-City Tornadoes 2-1. For the Generals, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Tornadoes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

MacArthur was led to victory by Mari Clark and Natalya Manns. Clark had six aces, while Manns had 19 assists and three aces. Those 19 assists gave Manns a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: MacArthur was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Tri-City, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Glenwood on the 16th. As for Tri-City, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond on the 15th.
