Baseball Recap: Walkertown Takes a Loss

Walkertown fell victim to West Stokes and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Wolfpack just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Walkertown's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for West Stokes, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Walkertown and West Stokes should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Wolfpack will face off against Greater Vision Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (224 vs. 487). Meanwhile, West Stokes (ranked 32nd) will meet McMichael (ranked 234th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
