Baseball Recap: Mohawk Area Warriors vs. Titusville Rockets

It's playoff time, and Mohawk Area had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Titusville Rockets 5-4.

Jackson Chapman was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April. Mohawk Area's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Titusville, they moved to 18-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Mohawk Area is on the road again on Thursday to play Riverside at 11:00 a.m. The Warriors' pitcher better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. Titusville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
