Basketball Game Preview: Farmington Tigers vs. Newmarket Mules

Farmington and Newmarket are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Farmington Tigers will host the Newmarket Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Farmington is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Groveton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 59-52 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Newmarket unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. The matchup between them and Profile didn't end well, with Newmarket falling 53-38. The game marked the Mules' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Newmarket, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.

Farmington strolled past Newmarket in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 62-45. Will Farmington repeat their success, or does Newmarket have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
