Baseball Recap: Le Roy Oatkan Knights vs. Haverling Rams

Le Roy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 16) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Haverling Rams, sneaking past 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Oatkan Knights: when they faced off against the Rams two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Alex Spezzano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
