Softball Recap: St. Patrick Takes a Loss

St. Patrick came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Dansville Aggies, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Shamrocks couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Patrick has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Dansville, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Patrick will welcome Fowler at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dansville, they will be playing at home against Potterville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.57 runs per game on average), something the Aggies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
