Football Recap: Ledyard Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games + How To Watch

Ledyard won the last time they faced Stonington and Jackson Favry did his part to make sure it happened again. The Colonels blew past the Bears, posting a 63-24 victory thanks in part to Favry, who rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 243 rushing yards.

Stonington lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aj Teixeira, who threw for 223 yards and four TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Thomas, who threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns.

Ledyard is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points over those games. As for Stonington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Ledyard and Stonington will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Colonels see the field they'll take on Fitch at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Stonington, their break will end when they face Westerly at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
