Baseball Recap: Start Beats Lake for Their Third Straight Win

Start entered their tilt with Lake on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Flyers by a score of 12-7. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 20-2 win the Flyers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Creecy, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Start: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Braden Bowman, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
