Baseball Game Preview: Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles vs. Mulberry Grove Aces

Brownstown/St. Elmo is 8-1 against Mulberry Grove since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will challenge the Aces at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Brownstown/St. Elmo is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since May 2, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Christ Our Rock Lutheran by a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Mulberry Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Altamont, falling 20-5.

Brownstown/St. Elmo has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Mulberry Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
