Basketball Game Preview: Lewis Cass Kings vs. Logansport Berries

The Lewis Cass Kings and the Logansport Berries will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lewis Cass and four for Logansport.

Lewis Cass is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell just short of Rochester by a score of 58-55 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while the Zebras are ranked 186th).

Meanwhile, Logansport had to suffer through a 68-41 loss at the hands of McCutcheon.

Lewis Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Logansport, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Lewis Cass came up short against Logansport when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 58-49. Can Lewis Cass avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
