Soccer Recap: Keene Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Keene Central can now relate to. They came up short against the Schroon Lake Wildcats on Thursday, falling 6-3. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Keene Central couldn't quite close it out.

Wyatt Martin and Ian Valent scored all three of Keene Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Keene Central now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Schroon Lake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

As of now, neither Keene Central nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
