Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame lost against Baylor back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Irish came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-9.

Madden Cothron paced Notre Dame's offense, picking up three kills. Cothron got some help from Addison Kitchings and her five assists.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Baylor, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Notre Dame has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Langston Hughes on the 23rd. As for Baylor, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Signal Mountain at 6:00 p.m.
