Soccer Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Granite Falls last Thursday, Lakewood came back down to earth. The Lakewood Cougars came up short against the Lynden Lions on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lynden, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Lakewood will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Blaine at 7:00 p.m. As for Lynden, they will head out on the road to square off against Squalicum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
