Baseball Game Preview: Pepin/Alma vs. Independence/Gilmanton Indees

Pepin/Alma are taking a road trip to take on the Independence/Gilmanton Indees at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Pepin/Alma and five for Independence/Gilmanton.

On Tuesday, Pepin/Alma came up short against Blair-Taylor and fell 5-1. That's two games in a row now that Pepin/Alma has lost by exactly four runs.

Meanwhile, Independence/Gilmanton lost 9-3 to Osseo-Fairchild on Wednesday.

Independence/Gilmanton's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pepin/Alma, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Pepin/Alma skirted past Independence/Gilmanton 1-0 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pepin/Alma since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
