Abingdon entered their tilt with Ridgeview on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wolfpack an 8-0 shutout. Mason Sollien was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Abingdon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Ridgeview, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.
