They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Coral Academy of Science - Reno 57-11. The win was a breath of fresh air for Sierra Lutheran as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Sierra Lutheran's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Yerington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Yerington was able to grind out a solid win over Sierra Lutheran in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 67-59. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Sierra Lutheran's John Salonites, who posted 31 points and seven rebounds.
