Basketball Game Preview: Elk Grove Grenadiers vs. St. Charles North North Stars

The Elk Grove Grenadiers are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Charles North North Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Elk Grove and seven for St. Charles North.

Last Friday, Elk Grove had to suffer through a 70-39 loss at the hands of Glenbard South.

Meanwhile, St. Charles North ended up a good deal behind Geneva on Wednesday and lost 49-32. While losing is never fun, the North Stars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Vikings are ranked 64th).

St. Charles North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Elk Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 3-28.
