Volleyball Recap: Denton Takes a Loss

Denton saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Lindsay Knights by a score of 2-1. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Denton sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 17-25, 25-22.

Denton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lindsay, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Denton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Panther Creek on the 16th. As for Lindsay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bridgeport on the 16th.
