Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the John Paul II Cardinals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-59 back in January.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for John Paul II, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 19-14 record this season.

Legacy Christian Academy and John Paul II could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Legacy Christian Academy (ranked 523rd) will meet Prestonwood Christian (ranked 243rd) at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. Meanwhile, John Paul II will face off against Bishop Lynch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 186 places (334 vs. 148).
