Soccer Recap: Pollok Central Comes Up Short

The Pollok Central Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Tenaha Tigers on Thursday. Gabriel Zapata was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Pollok Central's goal came courtesy of Andrew Cantu, which was the first he's scored this season.

Pollok Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tenaha, the victory got them back to even at 1-1-1.

Pollok Central will take on Corrigan-Camden in a holiday battle at 10:00 a.m. on the 20th. Tenaha and San Augustine will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
