Cooper hadn't done well against North Hopkins recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Cooper Bulldogs made off with a 52-51 win over the North Hopkins Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Panthers back in January, they had to take a 55-54 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cooper to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jequan Brown, who posted 17 points. Brown has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Devin Dial, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and five boards.

Cooper has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for North Hopkins, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-15.

As of now, neither Cooper nor North Hopkins have any future games scheduled.
