Softball Recap: Westfall Mustangs vs. Unioto Shermans

Westfall fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Unioto on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Unioto Shermans by a score of 9-8. Westfall has not had much luck with Unioto recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Westfall's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Unioto, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Westfall will head out on the road to challenge Zane Trace at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Unioto, they will be playing at home against Adena at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
