Baseball Recap: Leadership Academy Falcons vs. Cornerstone Charter Cardinals

With a playoff game on the line, Leadership Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals by a score of 6-3. This was a revenge contest for Leadership Academy, as the team was forced to settle for a 6-4 defeat when these two played last Tuesday.

James Reynolds looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Leadership Academy let Clay Smith and Jafet Rodriguez loose on the outfield. Smith scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Rodriguez got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI. Sylas London was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
