Guthrie put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Perkins-Tryon Demons with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Bluejays have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Guthrie pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Perkins-Tryon, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

Coincidentally, Guthrie and Perkins-Tryon will both be playing Chisholm the next time they take the field. The Demons will head out to face the Longhorns at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
